Wifi intermittent but usually good enough for streaming, site 21 has very difficult layout in a corner. 25 foot hose not enough to reach spigot (leaking when on as well). Power for 30 amps but low voltage. Protector tripped multiple times when trying to use heat pump or water heater. Could not use these appliances on a supposed 30 amp connection. Sewer connection would require extension. We did not use it, despite paying for 3 services we only had power and that was substandard. Ground was soggy and soft. Many full timers with campers that did not appear to have moved in years or even be moveable. Was quoted 285 for 7 nights plus taxes and charged 327 total so taxes must be rather high in Quebec for this type of business. Would not return here or recommend. Close to grocery stores and bus stop within a kilometer. Road noise not too bad but present. 30 minute drive to city of Montreal. Owner was rude and unhelpful. Long term neighbors unwelcoming. Near Seward without the crowds. This lovely little campground has about 16 sites. Most are reservable but about 4 or 5 are FCFS. We wound up here after getting skunked at nearby Trail River and I'm glad we did. For one thing, Verizon service was good enough for streaming most of the time, which was a nice surprise. It would go down for a few minutes here and there but never for very long. There is a nearby creek where you can fish for Dolly Varden and Rainbow trout and Seward is only 30 minutes away. It's also cheaper than the campgrounds at Seward and other national forest campgrounds in the area.

Small park close to town and Alaska State Fair. This campground has good Verizon and ATT signal suitable for streaming. Has 40 RV sites with electric hookups (30 amp). There are also 47 tent/camper sites, some of which would be good for small campers in the wooded section of the park. All sites are reservable up to 2 days in advance and unreserved sites are available for walk up campers. The office was closed during our stay due to staffing issues so walk up payment options were only cash or check. The reservation system takes credit cards. Campground is near the river and there are walking trails near the river. Very close to the state fair and would be a good option if you want to visit the fair but not camp at the fairgrounds. Close to Fred Meyers for groceries and all the amenities of a medium size town. RV sites with electric are $30 and $20 for tent/dry sites. The dry sites do not look good for solar as they are heavily treed. Campground has heated bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers and seemed well cared for.

Fast Verizon and ATT. There are several pull through sites that could accommodate a large RV. Each site is gravel has a shade pavilion, fire pit and picnic table. Very quiet and the views are extraordinary. All sites have a 50 amp hookup. However, we chose to not use it and were not required to pay the extra $10 per day for electric service. Camping price of $20 includes park day use fee. Nevada residents and passholders have discounts available. This is a small campground of about 22 sites, however there is overflow camping just past the regular campground if you can't find a site. Within a 5 minute walk are the Moon Slots, Cathedral Slots and Canyon Slots. If you only have a short time to explore this is the place to go. There are 2 trails that allow mountain bikes, Hawks Ridge and Juniper Draw. Juniper draw follows the canyon and is very easy and flat but has some sandy spots and is about 4 miles. Hawks ridge splits off from Juniper Draw and goes up to the top of the ridge on the west side of the campground and comes out on the park road near the visitor center. This is a pretty easy ride but has some exposure that may not be suitable for younger riders. The hike to Millers Point is not to be missed and is relatively short at about 2 miles. It has some exposure and unprotected drops so mind your little ones and pets should they come along. If you have time and want to make the hike a little longer, continue from Millers Point to Eagle Point for some spectacular views. The 2 hikes combined are about 4 miles round trip.

Riley is a short walk to the mercantile store which has a few basics but mostly sells beer and soda and is where campers must register upon arrival. Checkout and check-in are at 11 am. Hosts are visibly patrolling the campground and sites are quite clean. Generator hours are restricted to a couple of hours in the morning and evening. Campground is also a short hike to the bus depot and a slightly longer hike to the visitor center. A sites are large enough for equipment over 30 feet and cost about $40 per night. B sites are for 30 feet and under and cost about $32.

All but 4 sites are reservable and of these all but one are full hookups (one does not have sewer). The 4 non-reservable dry sites are A10, A12, B1, B2. A10 had the best views of these sites, right on the cliff above the reservoir. Wind could be an issue. A12 is same as A10 but there are trees on the bluff blocking the view. B1 and B2 are at the entrance to B loop and would be better if wind is a concern. ATT and Verizon where good for streaming Netflix. Host stays in a trailer up near the first entrance and is always working hard to keep the campground in ship shape. He locks the gate a 8pm (10pm Memorial day to Labor day). He will open the gate for you if you get locked out. His number is posted at the entrance.

Most sites are reservable and campground is often booked on weekends. Many sites have shade but would work for solar. Good ATT and Verizon signal for streaming. $8 reservation fee. FCFS dry campground in Furnace Creek area. This campground is a large gravel lot with marked spaces and an automated fee machine. No picnic tables or grills, just a parking lot. Verizon 3g works for texts and emails but not web browsing. ATT shows full bars of 4g but service was no better than Verizon. Booster did not help.

Not really a campground, but a parking lot that allows camping. Good Verizon data/phone signal. ATT phone but no data. This is a good option for those wanting to fish on the Russian and Kenai rivers. Many Alaskans (people and bears) here to catch salmon and the ferry will take you across the river for $11 round trip. Pricing is per vehicle, $12 for less than 20 feet and $15 for over 20 feet. If your towing, don't unhitch and can fit in one of the spaces you only have to pay $15 which is quite good for the area. If you don't fit or unhitch and use another parking space, you will be charged per vehicle. The angle of the spaces would make it nearly impossible to back a trailer in so you uncouple your tow vehicle.

Semi-parking lot style campground on a bluff above the ocean. Beautiful beach to walk. FCFS system is a little different. There is a large bulletin board in the middle of the campground with all the sites listed. Pick an un-claimed site, pay with the envelope and put your receipt on the board under your site number. Sites are $20 per night. Verizon and ATT were not good enough for streaming but T-Mobile worked well. Bring supplies, the nearby stores are small grocers with limited selections.

This is probably the most convenient and economical option close to Anchorage. Excellent signal from ATT and Verizon (streaming fast). Road noise and river noise were constant but not too bad and road noise was less at night. One of the more irritating factors about summer in Alaska is that with the ultra late sunsets and early sunrises, many people do not seem to observe quiet hours. This was apparent at most of the more crowded campgrounds throughout Alaska. Solar possible with many sites. First come first serve.

This campground is a day use area that has been converted to a campground. Sites are $12 per night on weekdays and $18 per night on weekends. All sites are FCFS. Many sites are part of a double site and therefore cost $24 per night on weekdays and $36 on weekends. Nearest dump stations are in Las Vegas, so come prepared. Verizon and ATT signals are good enough for streaming. This campground fills quickly and is difficult to maneuver for a larger RV. The biggest advantage to this campground is it's elevation makes it about 20 degrees cooler than the sites at lake Mead. Hiking/biking trails accessible in campground.

A great little getaway with a natural hot springs. The campground is entirely first come first serve and all sites are $20. There are no hook ups. Some sites are along the edge of the open parking area and there are several tucked into a couple of loops in the woods. The maximum vehicle length is posted on each site. Sites tend to fill up on the weekends. There is no cell service but you can get free wifi at the Lodge and Restaurant. The hot springs is nice, $15 gets you all day, in and out access, just save your receipt as that's your pass. The dump station is janky looking and right on the edge of the parking lot so it's sometimes blocked by parked cars. The water station looks like potable water, but I wouldn't want to use the hose provided.

Pleasant campground run by very accommodating and conscientious hosts. Cell signal is a little weak but doable for streaming. Cave tour is interesting and campers get a $5 discount. Full hookup sites are $33 and W/E only sites are $25. Dump station is located on the exit for the W/E camping area. The full hookup section is paved and many sites would work for larger rvs. The w/e section is gravel and only the pull throughs would be good for a larger rv. Laundry facilities are available in the w/e section bathhouse. Free wifi works well.

Quiet campground on Kachess Lake off of I-90. This campground is reservable a few days out but sites that are not booked are available to walk-ins. There were a couple of signs at the main gate that say no walk ins allowed but this was contradicted by recreation.gov and the camp host who was very welcoming and helped us pick a good site. The sites closest to the lake had cell services. Sites further back in the trees did not. We were on the Theta loop in site 131 and had excellent signal good enough for streaming.

There are actually three areas with multiple campgrounds that are all part of the Ute Lake State Park. The northern campground has a dump station and choices between water/electric sites for $14 + $4 reservation fee and dry sites for around $10 -$14 depending on if reserved or not. Cell signal is good enough for streaming. There is wifi in the park but I did not try it. Most sites are exposed to the wind and there are sand spurs in all the grassy areas. Some sites have sheltered picnic tables. The lake is popular with boaters and fishermen. Closest towns are Logan and Tucumcari.

Economically priced, busy campground near Chattanooga and the Sequatchie valley. Sites in electric and water loop are $20. Tent sites are $15. RVs are allowed in tent sites and most would be suitable for RVs. The hookups loop is quite busy and a little closer to the freeway which can be a little noisy at night. If you want more peace and quiet, go to the tent side if you don't require hookups. This campground is open year round and plans several events throughout the year, including a Halloween festival with a camper decorating contest.
