Small park close to town and Alaska State Fair. This campground has good Verizon and ATT signal suitable for streaming. Has 40 RV sites with electric hookups (30 amp). There are also 47 tent/camper sites, some of which would be good for small campers in the wooded section of the park. All sites are reservable up to 2 days in advance and unreserved sites are available for walk up campers. The office was closed during our stay due to staffing issues so walk up payment options were only cash or check. The reservation system takes credit cards. Campground is near the river and there are walking trails near the river. Very close to the state fair and would be a good option if you want to visit the fair but not camp at the fairgrounds. Close to Fred Meyers for groceries and all the amenities of a medium size town. RV sites with electric are $30 and $20 for tent/dry sites. The dry sites do not look good for solar as they are heavily treed. Campground has heated bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers and seemed well cared for.
