Fast Verizon and ATT. There are several pull through sites that could accommodate a large RV. Each site is gravel has a shade pavilion, fire pit and picnic table. Very quiet and the views are extraordinary. All sites have a 50 amp hookup. However, we chose to not use it and were not required to pay the extra $10 per day for electric service. Camping price of $20 includes park day use fee. Nevada residents and passholders have discounts available. This is a small campground of about 22 sites, however there is overflow camping just past the regular campground if you can't find a site. Within a 5 minute walk are the Moon Slots, Cathedral Slots and Canyon Slots. If you only have a short time to explore this is the place to go. There are 2 trails that allow mountain bikes, Hawks Ridge and Juniper Draw. Juniper draw follows the canyon and is very easy and flat but has some sandy spots and is about 4 miles. Hawks ridge splits off from Juniper Draw and goes up to the top of the ridge on the west side of the campground and comes out on the park road near the visitor center. This is a pretty easy ride but has some exposure that may not be suitable for younger riders. The hike to Millers Point is not to be missed and is relatively short at about 2 miles. It has some exposure and unprotected drops so mind your little ones and pets should they come along. If you have time and want to make the hike a little longer, continue from Millers Point to Eagle Point for some spectacular views. The 2 hikes combined are about 4 miles round trip.

Sites are close together and weekends can be noisy and crowded. Very nice park rangers. Interesting place close enough to Vegas to enjoy the city. Solid cell signal with Verizon and ATT and campground has wifi (didn't use it)

This campground is a day use area that has been converted to a campground. Sites are $12 per night on weekdays and $18 per night on weekends. All sites are FCFS. Many sites are part of a double site and therefore cost $24 per night on weekdays and $36 on weekends. Nearest dump stations are in Las Vegas, so come prepared. Verizon and ATT signals are good enough for streaming. This campground fills quickly and is difficult to maneuver for a larger RV. The biggest advantage to this campground is it's elevation makes it about 20 degrees cooler than the sites at lake Mead. Hiking/biking trails accessible in campground.
